EduTech Global Solutions (EduTech Group) was founded in 2009. The initiative started in the Grenada to develop a high-technology job training and apprenticeship program for young aspirants throughout the Caribbean. The program has expanded to the US and Nigeria with a similar mission statement. The organization is non-profit (awaiting 501(c)3 status in the US) with the purpose of developing and helping students score a position in the information technology industry. The program has several initiatives planned and developed for 2018 including the Caribbean Coding Academy which is scheduled to begin in April in Grenada.

EduTech Global Solutions currently possess a registered status in the US, NY as a legal corporation with 501(c)3 status with the IRS. The EGS is also registered in Caricom, Grenada (since 2009). EGS is also in the registration process in Lagos within the Africom region.
